An O-ring is a torus, so its volume is the cross-sectional area swept around the mean diameter: V = (π/4 · CS²) × (π · Dm), where the mean diameter Dm = ID + CS. From two numbers — inside diameter and cross section — you get the exact rubber volume, which is far more accurate than scaling from a similar part.

Solid part volume

For a rectangular block or gasket blank the volume is simply length × width × height. It is a useful upper bound for sheet-cut parts and a quick sanity check before tooling.
